All the penguins are wearing Black Belts and Ninja Masks.

Where there is usually an agent hiding behind the Lighthouse there is a ninja in a Ninja Costume and a Ninja Mask, who is picking up a bottle of Hot Sauce rather than the Spy Phone that the agent picks up.

There is also a black puffle in the middle, who will flame if you click it.

Lastly, you can see the volcano smoking at the back.

From what Billybob said, we can infer that the main character is a penguin called Norman Swarm who gets shrunk. He then goes on a quest to become normal-sized.

Alright, now to the newspaper.

First up, an article on the ninja updates. Throughout last week, many member ninjas helped to build Amulets. Now, the volcano is safe for work to take place. Sensei says that ninjas should build another Dojo on the volcano to master the element of fire, or, as he said a few months ago, ‘take the fire path’. This training would be the greatest challenge ninjas have faced yet, he says. Ninjas should bring their jackhammers to the volcano for construction.

Next, an article on the new play, Norman Swarm has been Transformed. Some members of the stage society (not real penguins) had a preview of the play. What I can get from it is that we need to work in a group, and 1 member of the group must have a bug costume. I also managed to find out 2 of the bug costumes from the pictures in the paper:

They seem like a spider costume and a snail costume. Well, we’ll find out soon.

Next, an article on a new member’s party. Rory has been using his Snow Trekker to dig out a big maze out in the Ski Village. This challenge, exclusively for members, is called the ‘Great Snow Maze’ and will begin on 27th November. If you’re a member, enjoy! If you’re a nonmember like me, we won’t be able to get into the Ski Village for a while that time.

Now for the usual features. The In Focus is about the Coffee Shop. Aunt Arctic answered questions about becoming a reporter for the Penguin Times and doing well in Sled Racing. The Classified Folder has a secret about Puffle Games.

Alright, now for the Ninja Updates.

Well, as I’ve mentioned earlier the Amulet has been released. You can buy it in the Martial Artworks catalog.

The new ninja room, the Fire Dojo is also open. In the Hideout, click the stone block that looks like this:

The gateway will rise out of the side.

If you have the amulet you can enter the new room, the Fire Dojo, through the gate. Currently, you can’t play Card-Jitsu Fire, but you can help in the construction.

If you are a nonmember or don’t have the amulet, you get this message:

From that, I managed to find out some new Fire Ninja clothing.

The mask is the regular Ninja Mask, but the penguin is wearing special clothes and footwear. These may be some of the ‘legendary items’ that you earn if you train to become a fire ninja.

Here’s the Play News:

Well, the play’s got a secret room, with a special pin in it! Here’ s how to get into the room:

Stand on the 5 crosses near the boulder and the mantis with 4 other penguins. 1 of the 4 must be wearing ONLY a bug costume from the Costume Trunk.

The boulder at the top would start glowing. Walk to the boulder, and it will roll aside, revealing the entrance to the Underground (the secret room):

If you go down, you end up at the Underground. It looks like this:

The new pin is the Magic Phial pin, which is hidden in the chest at the corner.

The way to get it is similar to the way you get into the room. Stand on the 5 crosses with 4 other penguins, and as with before, 1 penguin must be wearing ONLY a bug costume from the Costume Trunk.

And when you do that, finally, you unlock your treasure!!

There you go. That’s all for now.

Now, 2 things to note in this.

1. The ninja in the pic is wearing an amulet.

2. There’s a bridge at the bottom left. Now compare it with the pic I posted yesterday of the new room.

Now, what do we find out? Simply that it’s likely that you need an amulet to get in the new room.

So, it’s likely that the amulet would be a member item (most likely in the Martial Artworks catalog).

Now, if I’m correct, the amulet would also give access to the future water and snow ninja rooms, since it has the fire-water-snow logo.

Here’s all the info I’ve found from the:

The new game will be callled Card-Jitsu Fire.

It’s only for members.

Ninjas who master this will be called Fire Ninjas.

You can get to the new room through a gateway. This would (most likely) come out of the hole we dumped all that fiery stuff in during the Sensei’s Scavenger Hunt.

The new room will be in the Volcano. You can see the lava.

Sensei will wear a new outfit in the new room.

Billybob posted in the What’s New Blog about a mysterious new place. Here’s a sneak:

Billybob heavily hinted that it is something to do with ninjas. He said that it would ‘add some fuel to the fire’ (come on, this ninja-fire stuff has been going on for months) and said that the Amulet would come in useful.

Remember the sneak that Billybob released back in September?

Notice that on the right side of the 2 sneaks, there’s a hot sauce botte and a lantern. There’s also a boiler sort of thing in both of the pictures.

I for one can’t wait for this room to come out. How about you?

First up, the newspaper.

Firstly, an article on the ninja situation. Apparently, Sensei managed to tame the volcano, and as such stop the storm using a special amulet made of gold and a black gem. He has started construction to build more amulets for ninja training. Now that the volcano is calm, he says, it can aid us in our training. So we need to go to the Hideout and help to forge the new amulets. I’ll elaborate on this later on along with the ninja updates.

Next, an advertisment on the upcoming play, Norman Swarm has been Transformed. It says that it is the biggest (or perhaps smallest play). This probably implies that the play has a lot of features, but is small as it involves small creatures (the advert has pictures of penguins dressed up as bees, ladybugs and gnomes).The winning gnome costume from the poll would probably turn up in the Costume Trunk here.

It also mentions that penguins need to work with others to find all the secrets in this play, which includes a hidden room!! This probably means that there could be another secret pin/item in the Stage, like in Ruby and the Ruby. And maybe we need to work with a buddy to get it. Isn’t that awesome?! This must be one of the best plays CP has made ever!

Next, the 2nd set of winners of the Halloween Igloo Contest. Congrats to all the winner ! As always, don’t sulk if you didn’t win. It’s really hard to win and you can always try again another time!

I’ve created yet another new page. This is called Club Penguin Catalogs and Secrets. I have posted/will post the catalog secrets here. Not all of them are done, expect them all in a few days.

Plus, I have posted the swf links to all the catalogs in CP (click the name of the catalog you want). In addition, for some of the smaller catalogs, I have posted all the items and their prices. Hope you like it.

I’ll also update many of my current pages soon, hopefully within the week. The Ninjas page will be cleaned up and refurbished, the Secret Agent page will also be updated (I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve still got more to do), and the Game Guides page will be updated with all the mission games, and the latest guides and hints.

I’ll also be adding more funny pictures to the page, plus creating more pages. I’m not going to tell you what the pages are about (SECRET!!! ), but I can reveal that one of them will be utterly random and the other helpful.

Now, finally to the NINJA UPDATES!!

As the paper mentioned, the amulets helped to calm the volcano.

Sensei wants to make more amulets for ninja training. So, the Goldsmith Apron was released in the Martial Artworks catalog. You can use it to hammer on a gold anvil.

There’s now a big construction at the Courtyard to make the amulets using the Goldsmith Apron.

I wonder what will happen next. I think that the large number amulets will help tame the volcano completely so that ninjas can go there safely to train. Perhaps there will be another set of belts to be earned at the volcano. Anything could happen.

In the papers:

Firstly, an advert on the Halloween Party. They show where you can catch some of the important stuff from the party.

Next, a special section on the environment by Gary the Gadget Guy. He says the storm doesn’t show any sign of stopping, unlike last year’s. He says that we should swim at our own risk (as lightning strikes in water may be very dangerous), that we should be cautious in high areas (e.g. the Ski Mountain & Dojo) as lightning may be more intense and that we should not carry any metal objects that would act as some kind of a lightning rod.

This article is very interesting and is related to the current ninja happenings. Shortly after giving the tips above, he disappeared into the hills to talk to Sensei. Also, the second tip has reference to the Dojo. If you remember, last year during Halloween, lightning struck the Dojo and revealed the whole Ninja mystery. Is this some hint to a new ninja development?? We just have to wait.

Well, next, the winners of the Halloween igloo contest have been announced. Well done if you have won! If you haven’t, don’t fret, you can always try again next year.

There’s a new Mission coming!!! Finally!!!

Here’s a sneak:

It will be another episode in the Herbert & Klutzy series. In the sneak Gary is pointing to a screen in the HQ. It is quite an old arrangement of the screens in the HQ, as there are only 20 screens altogether. Gary is most likely to be pointing at the Town (the screen that is glowing).

Billybob hasn’t announced when it will be released but it should be within a few weeks.

One is the Haunted House at the Mine Shack. You can get there by clicking one of the posters around the island. There’s one in the Town.

Like what Gary said, the candy hunt clues lead to the 2nd Members’ Room, the Secret Lab. So let’s go on the candy hunt!

First, go to the Lodge Attic. The candy is hidden behind a Jack-O-Lantern in the back left corner.

Click the candy to get it out.

Then go to the Dock. The candy is hidden on the pumpkin with the egg-shaped light.

Click the light to see the candy.

Then go to the Pet Shop. The candy is hidden behind the candles at the top of the shelf (near the Red Puffle).

Click the candle to reveal the candy behind it.

Next, go to the Cove. The candy is hidden in the ghost’s book on the sign by the campfire.

Click the book to get the candy out.

After that, go to the Cave. The candy is hanging on a string at the top along with the decorations.

Click the candy to get it.

After that, go to the Soccer Pitch. The candy is in the stadium light on the bottom right.

Click the candy to get it.

Then, go to the Forest. The candy is hidden in the rustling bush at the top center.

You can find the rustling bush by mousing over the top of the screen. The rustling bush will shake and leaves will fly out when you mouse over it. Click the bush to get the candy.

Finally, go to the Mine. The candy is hidden in a slime pool at the bottom right.

Click the candy for it to come out.

Now, for the 2nd Members’ party room – the Secret Lab!!!

Click the lantern hanging.

It is actually a pulley. You will pull it down and a hole will open in the cave wall.

You can go down to the Secret Lab from there.

There is also a party catalog.

You can get to buy various random items, including bits of past play costumes. You get 3 items of head, body and feet types, so you can mix and match to make really spooky costumes!!
